Heya!! Welcome to our ever changing home. We bought our home in October of 2008. Here is some pictures of the house when I first bought it. This picture is our back yard and when we first bought it there was NOTHING but dirt in the backyard. 
This is a picture of our front yard and the front yard took us a year to do anything with it. When we first bought the house there was dirt/dead grass all in the front. A year after we bought the house, we deicided in the summer to start some blooming !!
This garden has over 75 plants and 80percent of it is drought tolerent. Many, many….M A N Y plants have changed, uprooted, moved or just simply Died. The top pictures are more of a few looks of the before garden and these are some after. This one is of our backyard…of course right NOW it looks a little bit different but not as much as the front. The bottom picture is what the first thing you would see when you walk right out our back patio door. I like it….but hoping that we’ll do a rehaul of the Whole backyard next year.
The above picture is what we did to our left side and right side of the house. Like I said everything was dirt but we needed to do something that would work …cheaply…and thanks to RCP in Chula Vista we did just that with the stones and rock. BUT just some advice….rock sucks if you have small children who love to fill their buckets and anything else they can find to put rocks in. And now for the front yard. That also is always changing because…well….I love change…..
